Awarded the Premio Brote Joven Award for Environmental activism by the international film festival FICMEC (Festival Internacional de Cine Medioambiental de Canarias). As an awardee, I contextualised environmental justice struggles in longer histories of struggles against colonial and imperial domination and participated in exchange with young local organisers and volunteers as part of the youth forum.
