The Cost of Growth film screening and panel discussion

Co-organised and moderated an expert and activist panel after the screening of The Cost of Growth film (https://www.thecostofgrowth.com/) - a documentary featuring the local resistance to transnational extractive industries in Serbia, and connecting them to the resistance of the indigenous Sami population to corporate wind projects in Sweden, and successful coordination between Italian factory workers and environmental justice organisers for repurposing auto factories for bottom-up green mobility production. All three cases are analysed within a broader critique of capitalism, imperialism and militarisation.
